The Wailhounds

The Wailhounds are a musically diverse group from North East Indiana. They employ a style of music that is blues-based, rock-n-roll, which has a tendency to jam. Josh Warney on drums and Scott Wasvick on lead vocals are founding members of the Wailhounds who started up nearly 14 years ago. Josh's drumming has a blues back, while Scott's vocal range is everything from blues to hip-hop to rock. Noah Golden on lead guitar has been a Hound for 9 years. Noah brings a background of rock guitar with a jazz influence to the stage. Chris Carmichael on percussion has been with the group for 6 years. Chris brings a Latin percussion vibe, with a funk feel, to the project. Jason Smith on bass guitar has been a member for 5 years. Jason has brought a very versatile playing style, with a heavy edge, to the mix. Noah, Chris and Jason all sing with Scott to create stunning 3 and 4 part harmonies in recordings and live. Each time the Wailhounds family has grown and taken on new members, so has the sound. The music and sound have expanded to reflect the influences of all the members, creating an eclectic mix that pays tribute to all the musical loves of the members.
